Alicia obtained her Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) from Curtin University and has worked extensively to provide speech pathology services for children in both the private and public sectors. Alicia enjoys working with children in all areas of speech and language and has experience in working among the early childhood, pre-primary, and school-age populations, including children with disabilities. With her active involvement in child-related services beyond South Metro Speech Pathology, Alicia continues to build on her experience through ongoing professional development. As a trusted paediatric speech pathologist, Alicia is committed to ensuring that her clients receive evidence-based therapy most suited to their needs.
Alicia is particularly interested in early speech and language development, and strongly believes in the importance of early intervention. In fact, she thrives on seeing her clients make improvements - great or small. Above all, Alicia makes it a personal goal to see her clients reach their full potential.
Apart from being a lover of the great outdoors, Alicia thoroughly enjoys working collaboratively with parents and teachers to help her clients achieve their therapy goals. Alicia’s clients often look forward to her sessions as they are always a good balance of work and interactive fun. This is a result of Alicia’s philosophy that play is the most valuable tool to enhance a child’s learning and development.
